Weybridge converted stable

A bold style change from beige box to industrial chic

This recently converted Victorian stable was sold as a blank canvas to the current owner, who wanted to banish the beige and stamp her personality.

We started by adding skylights to the dark, open-plan living area. While the design concept was industrial and moody, we wanted to be able to control the light levels a little, to ensure it wasn't gloomy.

A stunning DeVol kitchen in Farrow & Ball Railings was installed, along with concrete skimmed fitted furniture in the office, and bespoke carpentry in the laundry area.

The dramatic black and gold cloakroom, and statement wallpaper in the guest bedroom, meant the eye was drawn to interesting elements, which were fun and playful.

Although masculine in style and colour, the soft furnishings used light, delicate laundered linen, paired with chenille. Plump, luxurious cushions added the finishing touch.
