How you want to use your space, and how you want to feel in it, are two of the most important aspects of designing your interiors, so it can often be a fine balance between practicality and aesthetic creativity.
Ideally, interior designers visit clients, but there is still so much planning that can take place and this is where a virtual consultation comes in.
Here are some of the things we can help with:
- Wallpaper, paint and fabric selection
- Sample sourcing
- Scheme development and creative ideas
- Room layout and space planning
- Interiors shopper
- Colour consultancy
- Sketches and visuals of what your room could look like
- Furniture and accessory sourcing
- Kitchen and bathroom design
- Renovation or extension ideas, sketches and plans
So how does it work?
Tell us what you need:
A conversation helps to establish the issues you're trying to solve, design goals and what styles you like. It's really helpful if you send us some photographs of your room and rough measurements;
We send your our proposal:
This outlines courses of action and costs. Costs depend on how much help and support you want. If you're just looking for some help with colours we wouldn't charge you for a complete room make-over;
Research:
Once you're happy with the proposal, we work behind the scenes to pull together and source interesting and beautiful ideas, furniture and fabrics;
Design:
This is the exciting bit. This is where we send you suggestions of schemes and designs. This could be in the form of mood and sample boards, room plans and sketches. We can also arrange to send you samples so you can feel the fabrics and wallpapers, and see them in natural light;
Feedback:
This is the part where you tell us what you liked and what you want to change. Communications is key. We want you to be happy with your designs;
Implementation: Of course, it's very difficult to manage an entire project from afar. However, it is possible to offer support and guidance to people wishing to do it themselves. This can include providing a shopping list or buying the items you need to save you time. Alternatively, we can implement your chosen plan when life gets back to normal.
